MY 2 CENTS
Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm’s are available in 16, twist-up shades. Like other jumbo balm pencils, no sharpening is required.
I really like these types of lip products for their convenience and ease of use. LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm’s are no different. My only issue with this packaging is the fact that the name of each shade is not printed anywhere on the tube, only the # of shade (which means I had to visit Covergirl online to find the corresponding shade names while writing this review)

The color payoff is from sheer-to-medium. They provide a nice, comfortable wash of color on the lips.
The texture of these are a little waxy and I’m finding that it accentuates any dryness on the lips. Regardless, it’s comfortable to wear, provides nice color, and they’re on the cheaper side (less than $10).

covergirljumbolipbalm2Out of the 16 shades, the 4 I have are (left to right) #275 Mauve Twist, #213 Cotton Candy Twist, #210 Blush Twist, and #245 Ruby Twist.

My daily go-to is Mauve Twist. I rarely wear Cotton Candy Twist because it’s too pale for me. Blush Twist is a pretty subtle pink that I have even used on my cheeks. Ruby Twist is the one I like the least and never wear –  something about it’s shade just doesn’t look right on me.

If you ask me to choose between these Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Glosses and the Revlon Matte or Lacquer Balms, I’d go with the Revlon ones. You can read why in my review here and here.

What do you think of these Covergirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balms? Do you have another brand you prefer for these types of lip products?
