Described as a “A short, round, flat-topped brush ideal for the smooth, easy application of foundations, creams, emulsions, and select powder products. Features a blend of natural bristles and synthetic fibres”

MY 2 CENTS
First and foremost, this brush sheds. Whenever I use it to apply foundation or cream blush, it leaves behind tiny, black hairs.
I’ve only washed it a couple of times since I purchased it but I’m hoping the shedding stops soon.
Secondly, I’ve heard this is the HG brush for applying liquid foundation which is why I bought it to begin with. I’m not a fan of using it for this specific method. I find the bristles almost clump together making for a less than flawless application.

The good news is that I’ve found a use for this overly expensive brush. I use it for cream blushes and it’s heavenly. I prefer using this brush rather than fingers. Yes, it still sheds but I find that it just fits perfectly and blends better on my cheeks bones.
I have yet to try this with cream foundation but I’m quite confident MAC#130 works better with a cream formula rather than liquid.

Because the head of the brush is so small and the bristles short, it really is easy to get into the nooks and crannies of our faces- around the nose, and under the eyes.

If you’re a cream foundation or cream blush junkie- then the MAC#130 is absolutely perfect for you.

In Short…

  • MAC #130 sheds
  • Works nicely on cream blush or buttery type foundations
  • Wouldn’t recommend for liquid products
