Waxing FAQs
How long does my hair need to be?
If it’s been 2 – 3 weeks since your last wax or shave, the hair should be long enough to wax. Think of a long grain, basmati rice.
Can I wax during that time of the month?
Absolutely! As long as you’re wearing a clean tampon or menstrual cup, we can wax you. You may feel a little more sensitive then usual, though. Taking an ibuprofen will make this wax more comfortable.
Can I catch an STI of infection from waxing?
No way! We are very clean and NEVER double dip the sticks. There is no cross-contamination or bacteria in our wax.
How should I prepare for a wax?
We recommend reading this post to prepare for your wax. Long story short: exfoliate, skip the lotion, make sure your hair is long enough to be removed comfortably.
What should I expect during my wax?
We have a great post that outlines exactly what is happening during your wax. Click here to read it.
How long does a Brazilian wax take?
We are super quick and efficient. Your Brazilian wax will be 10-15 minutes, from start to finish.
How long does waxing last?
Typically, you’ll need to come back every 4 weeks
What happens if I get ingrowns?
We highly recommend exfoliating every other day with our Loofah Soaps ($11) to prevent ingrowns but we also have an ingrown hair solution, available for purchase ($28.99) to help clear them up
