What to Expect From Your Brazilian at Lashes and Lipstick

Brazilians are a scary thing for some people. Especially if it is your first one.
We wanted to give you a little insight into our process, to ease your mind.

First, you’ll be greeted your BeautyPRO and asked you a few questions like is this your first Brazilian?  or when was the last time you waxed or shaved? Take this time to let your BeautyPRO know if you have any questions, concerns or have any sensitivities or allergies.

You’ll be asked to undress from the waist down, including your underwear. You’ll be provided an I Love My Muff Fresh Wipe, should you need to freshen up. Your BeautyPRO will turn around to get ready for service while you undress.

Once you’re up on the bed, your BeautyPRO will confirm your service and position your legs. At this point you can let them know if you want a landing strip, triangle, etc or if you’d like all the hair removed. Between the Cheeks is included in a Brazilian but should you not want to wax there, just let them know!

Before we begin, your skin will be prepped. Hard Wax will be applied to each area with a disposable stick. The wooden stick is never reused; we do not double dip. We’ll wait a few seconds for the hard wax to dry and it will be removed in one, swift, quick motion. This process will be repeated until all the hair is removed. We use three different types of wax to ensure a clean wax, every time.

Once the Brazilian is complete, your BeautyPRO will apply Fur Ingrown Oil to reduce stickiness, soothe the skin, reduces redness, and prevent ingrown hairs.
Should you decide to wax between the cheeks, you will be advised on you how to position your legs as we wax the area. Grapeseed Oil will be applied between the cheeks to prevent stickiness.

Once the entire service is complete, your BeautyPRO will tell you the postcare instructions then leave the room, allowing you to get dressed. We have a few great post-care, affordable products that will enhance the long-lasting results of waxing.

Voila! You’ve just completed your first of many Brazilians. The process is quick, relatively painless, and recommended every 4 weeks.
