Hydrabrasion Contraindictations

We cannot perform Hydrabrasion facials if you:

• are pregnant/nursing;
• have cancer (must be in remission 6 months or more);
• are on Accutane;
• have severe acne/cystic acne;
• have an autoimmune disorder;
• are diabetic (please get a drs. note!);
• have any sort of bacterial skin infection;
• have rosacea;
• have a fresh sunburn on your face;

Hydrabrasion Aftercare

For 12 – 24hrs post Hydrabrasion, please avoid:

• wearing makeup;
• using exfoliating products: physical, enzymatic, or chemical;
• injections (botox or filler);
• facial waxing;
• swimming, saunas, hot tubs, and sun exposure for up to 48hrs
• using AHAs, Glycolics, or Retinols or up to 72hrs

During regular Hydrabrasion treatments, you should:

• always wear a physical SPF of 30+. We recommend Dermaquest Sheet Zinc, available in our beauty bar;
• avoid prolonged sun exposure;
• always hydrate your skin with our recommended at home care;
• avoid laser hair removal treatments on the face for at least 2 weeks post Hydrabrasion
• wait 2 weeks post-injections before your Hydrabrasion treatment

Before your Hydrabrasion facials, please avoid retinol for at least 72hrs and make your technician aware of any eye infections, skin disorders, tendency to scar or keloid, and of any broken capillaries, raised moles, warts, skin tags, etc.
