So for the first time ever, I’ve decided to go to IMATS Toronto. The Exhibitor List is nothing spectacular but I think I need to go just to experience IMATS in general.
I’m not in dire need of anything specific. I’m really trying to keep my makeup hoarding to a minimum because, let’s face it, it’s completely unnecessary. But as a makeup artist and beauty blogger, I need to keep on top of new products and even “old” products I’ve never tried before.
Here is the list I’ve compiled of products I could use (and would like to try) but won’t be disappointed if I never get my hands on (I’ve been making due thus far, right!?).
- Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner
My favourite brush cleaner. You’ll get a review on this soon. Seriously, it’s incredible. It’s a little on the pricey side so I’m hoping to pick it up for less than $40
- Brush rolls
I’m looking for a leather one, with lots of slots, and is easy to clean. Any recommendations!?
- Ben Nye Luxury Powders in Buff, Beige Suede, and Banana
It’s no secret that Ben Nye Banana Powder has been dubbed an HG product but I’m interested in the other shades, too. I feel like Banana won’t suit everyone? I guess we’ll find out!
- Gleam Lip Radiance
First I’m hearing of Gleam and their Lip Radiance but I love their motto: “we proudly test on celebrities, not animals!”. Lip Radiance’s are all natural, made with Vitamin E, jojoba oils, and other organic botanical. I read that they’re extremely pigmented so I’m looking forward to (at the very least) swatching these. - Hakuhodo Brushes
I’ve become a bit of a brush freak lately. I need at least one.. or five… of these brushes. Not sure which ones I’m interested in yet. Any recommendations!? - OCC Concealers
I’ve yet to find m go-to concealer but I’m hoping these are it. Have you tried Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics concealers? I’d love to hear your thoughts
- Veil Cosmetics Illuminating Complexion Fix
Could this be the next Touche Eclat? Hmmmm… curious to find out!
- Yaby Cosmetics
I want to get my hands on the perfect neutral bridal palette, my UD Naked 1 just isn’t cutting it. I know Yaby will have something in stock. I hear their eyeshadows are buttery smooth. I can’t wait to play!
