I wanted to share with you a few purchases I made while I was in Sicily.
My first stop was to Griffe, an Italian cosmetics store, similar to Sephora but on a much smaller scale. Griffe carries brands like Chanel, YSL, L’Oreal, Collistar, Pupa, etc.
From Pupa, I bought a lovely Blush & Bronze duo. The bronzer I brought with me from TO quickly became too light. This bronzer is darker and perfect for my tanned skin. I use it with a very light hand and blended out with a Beauty Blender. It can look muddy on my skin if I’m not careful.
From Collistar, I bought a Lifting Effect Concealer which I am loving. It doesn’t crease or fade through the day. I bought it in a shade that matches my skin totally so along my cheekbone and balls of my cheek, I use a lighter concealer as a highlight. I really like the effect and how bright my eyes look.
The lipstick is by Deborah Milano. It’s a matte finish and I’m finding it rather dry. Not my favourite but still a lovely burnt coral shade.
The next store I stopped at was Wycon..
I ran out of my MAC Face & Body and needed a replacement foundation. I picked up Natural Skin with SPF 37. I was expecting it to be a bit lighter in texture with a bit less coverage but nonetheless, it’s comfortable on the skin for a full coverage foundation.
I bought another matte lipstick, admittedly because it’s called Orgasm – haha. It’s a two-toned lipstick that is more comfortable to wear than the Deborah Milano one I purchased at Griffe.
I use the darker side as a lipliner and the lighter side in the centre of my lips. It’s a really pretty effect!
My last makeup purchase is a brow powder. This brow powder is actually 2 waxes and 1 powder. The centre shade is powder and so incredibly pigmented. The ighter shade and the clear shade is wax. I never use clear wax but I love how the brown wax looks. I’ve been using both brown wax and darker powder on my brows.
