Let’s say you’re searching for a lipstick (or a blush, eyeshadow, etc). This lipstick is by a certain brand and has multiple colors and finishes. You want to try the lipstick but want to read the reviews before shelling out $30+ on it. Do you look for general reviews of the product or are you very specific in your search regarding color and finish?

I tend to read general reviews of any product but I do look for swatches, too!
