MY 2 CENTS
I’m a big fan of hassle free nails. I love gel nails, Shellac, acrylic, even nail stickers because they last weeks (even up to a month) before I need to change them up or refill them but I’ve always had bad luck when it comes to press-on nails. I just don’t believe in them.

imPRESS Press-On Manicure caught my eye because of all their pretty/cute/feminine designs. There’s 36 to choose from!
That being said, I went ahead and bought a set:

This “manicure” comes with:

  • 24 press-on nails
  • a alcohol wipe to clean your nails
  • and a tiny nail file to shape the press-ons

Application is easy:

  • make sure to clean your nails with the alcohol wipe provided
  • lay out the 10 nails you’ll be using
  • one by one, peel off the plastic protector and apply to your nail- press hard
  • save your thumbs for last

Aren’t these cute!?

I tried my best to shape the press-on nail to my nail shape but I find that they’re noticeably too thick, and easily lifts by the cuticles.
When I run my fingers through my hair, strands of hair are literally ripped out  because it gets caught between my real nail and the press-on nail.
After the first day, my pinky nail came off. The second day, the nail on my index finger came off. By day 3, each nail was lifting and they were becoming uncomfortable. I peeled them off on the third day.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I am never wasting my money on press-on nails again. No matter how cute they are.

With that being said, if you still want to try these press-ons for yourself- you can use this coupon to save yourself $1
