I was contacted in January about a potential review for a skincare line founded in September 2014 by actress and producer Jacynthe Rene. Despite it’s debut in 2014, Le Soins de Jacynthe was crafted over 30 years ago by an aromatherapist who works with rare and therapeutic grade oils.

I was sent a face trio of Jacynthe’s Beauty Essentials:

• Huile Nettoyante de Jacynthe – a cleansing oil
• Eau Floral de Rose – a rose water
• Le Serum de Jacynthe – an anti-aging serum

Start your Le Soins de Jacynthe Beauty Ritual with Huile Nettoyante de Jacynthe ($27 CDN)

Cleanse your skin and remove your makeup with the cleansing oil. This purifies the skin and helps regulate sebum.
It’s composed of jojoba and apricot oils, sea buckthorn CO2, bourbon, geranium rosa, ylang ylang and sandalwood oils.
I soak a cotton pad with the the dropper full of cleansing oil and hold it on my lids for a few seconds before beginning the removal process. You can even pour a dropper full into your hands, smearing it into your skin, finishing with your eyes. You can rinse it off with warm water or use a cleanser. This stuff is so strong that it removes even the most waterproof of makeup

Next up in the Le Soins de Jacynthe Beauty Ritual is the Eau Floral de Rose ($20 CDN)

Spritz the rose water all over your face to prep the skin for the serum. Rose water is designed for mature skin. It tightens pores, acts as a toner, and is anti-inflammatory. It’s suitable for rosacea and irritated skin because of it’s healing properties.
This is absolutely refreshing and so soothing for the skin. I’m looking forward to using this on those hot summer days that I feel so sweaty and need a refresher.

Unfortunately, Le Serum de Jacynthe leaked out of it’s glass jar, thus the tape to tape back on the label LOL sorry!

Le Serum de Jacynthe is an anti-aging serum that promotes collage production and improves hydration. The serum contains rare, noble, and powerful plant and essential oils like primrose oil, borage, buckthorn & Rosehip CO2 extracts, sandalwood, rose, natural vitamin E and rosemary oleoresin.
I like to apply this after the rose water, while my skin is still wet but you can totally apply it after the rose water has dried.

I use Huile Nettoyante de Jacynthe every night to cleanse makeup off my face.
Eau Floral de Rose and Le Serum de Jacynthe I use as part of my day routine, followed by moisturizer. My skin feels comfortable with just the rose water and serum itself but I like to moisturize, too for added hydration since I have dehydrated skin.

I really love using this trio of Jacythe’s Beauty Essentials. My skin feels great, soft, supple, smooth, and I feel that I have an added glow. I’ve been getting compliments on my skin everywhere I go :)
