Where can I buy this? Anywhere that sells Revlon products

MY 2 CENTS
It took me a little while to get my hands on these babies! This is yet another craze in the beauty blogging industry. I was always too late and they were sold out.
Everywhere I went, I kept finding L’Oreal Color Riche Balm and a couple of times mistook them for the Lip Butters because their packaging is so similar. So when I finally found them at Loblaws, I picked up 2 of the nicest colors they had left. I bought Creamsicle (pale orange)  and Sweet Tart (raspberry pink).

The Revlon Lip Butters are available in 20 buttery shades and claims to:

  • be a balm
  • hydrate lips and boost moisture
  • glide on smoothly
  • be sheer to medium color

Before I continue, I want to say that I hate Creamsicle. It’s such a great pale color but it settles into the lines of my lips and just looks terrible.

Ok now that’ve I’ve got that peeve out of the way, these lipsticks are either pigmented like a lipstick or not-so-pigmented like a tinted lip balm. I find it really depends on the shade. The darker brighter shades are nicely pigmented while the paler ones act as a lip balm rather than lipstick.
They’re definitely smooth and easy to apply. I find the more coats of lipstick, the better color payoff.

I really LOVE the packaging on these girls! The color you see on the lid is pretty close to the actual shade of lipstick. AND (bonus!!)  there’s a clear window at the top of the lipstick where you can actually see the color.
