Launched in March 2017, Vita Liberata made tanning easy and fast with their 10 Minute Tan.
I feel like even today, there’s a stigma about self-tanners, that they turn you orange or their splotchy. I can’t deny that there are some shitty products on the market but you’re going to love Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan. It’s easy to use and doesn’t stain your sheets!
Here are some tips for an even,smooth tan:
- wax or shave the area you want to tan;
- exfoliate the area with a scrub or loofah;
- apply self tanner with a mitt or you hands, in long circular motion (wash your palms if you’re using your hands!);
- keep your skin hydrated and moisturized every day
With Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan, follow the steps above, leave the tanner on for 10 – 20 minutes, rinse it off, and within 6 – 8 hours your tan will develop. I like to apply with the mitt first but when I reapply to deepen tan, I just use my hands.
I find that with the mitt, Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan spreads evenly and easily. You’ll notice that as the tanner is drying, your skin is sticky. I live alone so I just walk around naked and it doesn’t bother me. It has a light self-tanner scent but it’s not overpowering.
I rinse off my body at about the 20 minute mark. I saw the tanner being rinsed off in the water and I thought that maybe I had done something wrong but the tan developed none-the-less. I patted my skin dry then applied moisturizer.
The next morning, my skin was maybe one or two shades darker. Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan is a gradual tan so i applied it for about 3 nights to get my desired tan. I didn’t turn orange and as it faded, there were no patches or splotching.
I wouldn’t say it’s as long lasting as a spray tan as about 2 or 3 days after I got my desired tan, it started fading. For me, I essentially use Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan about 3x a week for a healthy, natural glow.
Overall, I’m a fan of Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan!
