Hello from Sicily!!
I didn’t think I’d have much internet access while I’m out here but, as it turns out, my grandfather is fancy and has WIFI haha
I’ve been here since Friday evening and have found these following products so important to my stay here. In no particular order, here is my travel essential list:
- *Pure Coconut Facial Wipes: these are great for removing light makeup or refreshing the skin. They smell like coconuts which adds to the tropicalness of my trip ;)
- *Vichy Capital Soleil Invisible Mist with SPF30: it’s a continuous spray and dry to the touch with 0% alcohol. Full review here
- *Dermalogica Broad Spectrum SPF50: I’m using this on my face to protect it from even further sun damage. You can read about that here
- *Fresh Effects Shine, Shine Go Away Facial Cleanser: It’s hot out here in Sicily (yes, I’m bragging!), this cleanser is my attempt to keep shine at bay. It’s formulated with Kaolin clay which lifts away oil and impurities to help minimize shine.
- *Gilette Venus Mini Razor: this is too cute for on-the-go and essentially, easy to travel with because it’s so small and compact. The mini handle is easy to grip and the water activated Ribbon of Smooth leaves my legs (you guessed it!) smooth!
- Alterna Caviar Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner: salt water is drying to your locks, this saturates your hair with replenishing Seasilk and as a bonus, even protects my color from fading.
- *Clarins Golden Glow Booster: because I’m trying not to tan my face so much, I’m using Golden Glow to match my face and body. Full review here
- *EOS Visibly Soft Lip Sphere: I love, love, love the texture and softness this leaves on my lips. Totally kissable ;). Full review here
- *X3 Foaming Hand Sanitizer: Planes are always so germy but this sanitizer kept my mind at ease and my hands feeling clean without drying out my skin. The formula is fragrance-free and alcohol-free. Definitely loving this!
- *Dermalogica Redness Relief Primer: just in case I get a little too much sun on my face, I’m keeping this handy to minimize redness
- *Tangle Teezer: I get some ridiculous knots in my hair, Tangle Teezer is my go-to in AND out of the city! It’s honestly the best detangling brush I’ve used and I love that it has a protective teeth cover to keep the bristles clean and unbroken. It’s small and compact so easy to pack or throw into your carry-on
