I was so excited to finally see these at my local Walmart because I’ve always wanted to try them!
I picked up the “your base/flawless core collection” that includes a base/stand plus:
- a detailer brush: can be used for concealer and/or lipstick
- pointed foundation brush: used with liquid foundation
- buffing brush: can be used for powder and/or liquid foundation
- contour brush: can be used on cream/powder products, also for foundation
My favourite brush out of this collection is the contour brush. It blends cream contour products so flawless into my skin. It’s good with powder, too!
The buffing brush is good but I find it to work better with powder than with liquid. After a few uses of liquid foundation, the buffing brush starts leaving little streaks behind.
I use the pointed foundation foundation brush for blending my under eye concealer and to highlight.
The detailer brush is the one I reach for the least. I prefer to spot conceal with my fingers versus a brush. I get better coverage that way.
I’ve added the contour brush and pointed foundation brush to my kit. Out of the 4, these 2 brushes work the best!
